30th Annual Ninja Parade.

The beginning of new things.

This week marks the beginning of an exploration of the desert surrounding Las Vegas at night, I have already been stopped high up the 4x4 trail and warned of meth labs in some of the old mines and a few incidents of High Caliber Warnings if you catch my drift. I dont expect any problems but it adds another dimension to the typical wildlife of the desert.

A trip worth taking!

Saturday my friend Kate and I took a stroll up mary jane falls trail. This was the most established and maintained trail I have been on yet here, but it was fairly strenous. The pictures speak for themselves. Sensi went back in time when she entered the cave, instinctively guarding the door and all but refusing to enter the deeper orifices that have surely been home to any number of high mt. cats that roam these mountains. great hike!

Summertime is here.

Time to slow things down, relax a bit and spend some time with good friends with good food and drink. The last year fucking sucked, but much good came from it in regards to strength of character. Dont let one person or dream set your life on a course that you alone cant pull yourself out of, just in case you find yourself alone, without those that you valued most... as my long departed friend James Glenn Lloyd used to repeat over and over again, Let it go... GrAB what you can that is yours and rebuild. Whether that be a failed career, marriage or whatever dreams are laid crumpled at your feet, pick it up and get the job done.
